U.T.SEC – Summit for Drones, Unmanned Technologies & Security was held on March 6-7, 2019 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, Germany sponsored by Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
This summit was intended to bring together users, suppliers, and experts in order to incorporate every aspect of drones and security. This was an immeasurable platform for the users, and suppliers to engage in the direct discussion with experts on aerospace protection, security managers from official agencies and executives in charge of procurement and public sector budgets.
In this trade fair, about 300 exhibitors and 3,500 visitors from official agencies had participated. The main agenda was to encourage all possible uses of drone technology meanwhile how to protect ourselves with the potential threats and its identification. The expert panels elaborated on air security, security at the airport against flying drones, UAS-assisted positioning for official agencies and authorities with security functions, and a workshop on drones for the police force were conducted successfully. This event also provided opportunities for startups to share their ideas and give suggestions for improvement and the latest trends.
